I used to think success meant chasing a high-paying career with a prestigious title. The plan was simple: work hard, climb the ladder, and maybe—just maybe—find fulfillment along the way. That’s why I became a nurse, specializing in perioperative care, even considering a Doctorate. On paper, it looked like the right path.
In reality, I was caught in a cycle—long hours, missed family time, and a paycheck that barely made up for the time I was giving away. Overtime and holiday shifts padded my income, but after taxes, I was barely ahead. I was burning through energy, missing out on life, and for what? A fixed salary and a future I had no control over.
I wasn’t willing to spend the next 30 or 40 years grinding for a paycheck that set limits on my time, my choices, and my future. That wasn’t the life I wanted for myself, my husband, or our family.
In 2018, I got my first look at what was possible beyond the traditional career track. Greatway wasn’t just a business—it was a turning point. I started part-time, following my husband’s lead, but what started as a side income quickly became a
real opportunity
. In a short time, I was able to wipe out my student loans and create a lifestyle that didn’t force me to choose between financial success and family.
This wasn’t about luck. It was about making a decision—one that gave me back control over my time, my income, and my future.
without wasting cash on things you don’t need.
